The WSP Series utilizes 316L food-grade stainless steel and has passed the explosion-proof test over 500 psi pressure and the water hammer test over 100,000 times. The WSP Series is your reliable choice of pre-filters, protecting and extending the life of your standard filters by removing large dirt, sand, and rust particles before they reach the rest of your plumbing system, including water softeners, water filtration, and expensive appliances.

The WSP series is flushable and reusable, making installation and maintenance easy. It is recommended to flush it regularly (daily or weekly), depending on the water usage, sediment amount, and the hardness level. However, as hardness tends to form a hard scale that clogs the screen, simple flushes may not be sufficient. When necessary, remove the stainless steel cartridge and clean it with a brush, and/or soak it in vinegar.

The WSP spin-down sediment filter comes with a variety of options in micron size. Smaller microns allow less through, but to get the most life and efficiency out of your filters, it's important to only go as small as you need. Differences in water quality and your water pressure affect the performance of the WSP. Please avoid the mistake of using 'fine' filters for 'rough' water and causing the filters to clog sooner than expected. Use multi-stage filters to achieve one of the best filtering results and longer cartridge life.

The WSP Series is available in various models, including WSPSL, WSPGR, WSPARB, and WSPARJ, offering a range of features such as see-through housing, scraper, rotatable head, gauge, scale prevention, and auto flush. The connectors come in 1-inch MNPT and 3/4 inch FNPT, ensuring compatibility with your plumbing system.

Rated at 50 microns, the WSP Series is an ideal frontier water filter for whole-house water filter systems, protecting your entire plumbing system from sediment, rust, dirt, sand, and large particles. If the contaminants in your water are too many or too large, we recommend you choose a larger micron of filter or a larger spin-down sediment water filtration system.
