Properly tighten all fittings to ensure a leak-free assembly. Do not install the unit on its side. Tools recommended: NSF-approved PVC primer and glue, channel locks, thread seal tape, and PVC pipe cutter. This system will not reduce total dissolved solids (TDS).

The AO-WH-PREV system is certified to reduce sediment, dirt, and rust in your water, appliances, and plumbing fixtures. Designed to bring you sediment-free water from every tap in your home.

The built-in shut-off bypass valve allows you to change filters without turning off your water supply, and the pressure release button enables quick and easy filter replacements. This Whole House Filter System uses universal 2.5-inch replacement cartridges (sold separately).

This filtration system can be used by itself or with additional A.O. Smith filtration systems, allowing you to customize your filtration setup to fit your home's unique needs. The package includes the filter housing, the first sediment filter, and a housing wrench, making it a simple DIY installation with no plumber required.

The system is NSF Certified to standard 42 for the removal of particulate.
