Aquasure Dash Series UF Dual Cartridges Filter Bundle

The Aquasure AF-CD200UF is a complete replacement filter set designed for the Dash Series countertop ultrafiltration system. This product includes a stage one 5-micron sediment pre-filter and a stage two 0.1 micron ultrafiltration multistage replacement filter.

The 5-micron sediment pre-filter provides a high dirt holding capacity, reducing sediment and rust particles, and extending the life of additional filters. The radial flow filtration design allows water to enter the cartridge through the radius of the filter, enabling the outer layer to trap and retain larger particles such as dirt, rust, and sediment.

The multistage ultra-filtration (UF) process combines a carbon block filter that micro-strains the water through its 0.5-micron pores to trap micro-organisms and cysts. This effectively reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), PCBs, certain heavy metals such as lead, pesticides, herbicides, chloroform, and other chlorination by-products. The final stage of the 0.1 - 0.01 micron ultrafiltration process passes the water through an array of sophisticated 0.1 - 0.01 micron hollow fibers, effectively removing bacteria, viruses, and cysts. Suspended particles and material of high molecular weight are unable to pass through this filtration system.

The 0.1 - 0.01 micron ultra-filtration effectively traps bacteria, viruses, and cysts, as well as suspended particles and material of high molecular weight. The 0.5-micron carbon block reduces hundreds of water contaminants, including Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), PCBs, pesticides, herbicides, chloroform, and other chlorination by-products.

The 5-micron sediment pre-filter provides a high dirt holding capacity, reducing sediment and rust particles and extending the life of additional filters. The FDA CFR 21 compliant fine web polypropylene fibers do not impart color, odor, or chemicals into the water, making it the ideal pre-filtration media.
