Aquatic Life Twist-in Sediment Replacement Filter Cartridge for RO/RODI Units

The Aquatic Life Twist-In Sediment Filter Cartridge acts as a line of defense against dirt and debris for reverse osmosis/deionization systems. This sediment water filter cartridge can be used as a pre-filter prior to carbon filtration, capturing and reducing unwanted matter such as sand, silt, and rust from water, which affect the quality and appearance of water.

The Twist-In Sediment Filter Cartridge is designed to be compatible with Aquatic Life Twist-In RO & RO/DI models 540370, 540371, 540372, and 540346. The cartridge is intended to be easily "Twisted-In" to the pivoting head on the Aquatic Life 75 and 100 GPD Models of the Twist-In RO and RO/DI units.

The sediment filter features a translucent polyethylene housing, allowing for easy viewing of the cartridge condition and an indication of when it's time to replace the filter. It is recommended to replace the filter every 3-6 months or after 2,500 gallons of total water passing through the cartridge.

To prevent the chance of leaks at the connection, the RODI sediment filter includes two pre-installed o-rings where the cartridge connects to the RO unit. The operating temperature range is between 39°F (Min) and 100°F (Max), with a working pressure range of 35 PSI (Min) to 80 PSI (Max). The flow rate of the sediment filter is 0.5 GPM.

The Twist-In Sediment Filter Cartridge measures 2.75" in diameter and 11.00" in height, with a weight of .70 lbs. This sediment filter is designed to capture and reduce unwanted matter, ensuring the quality and appearance of water in Aquatic Life Twist-In RO & RO/DI systems.
