Water Softeners / Sediment Filters
The spin-down sediment filter is available in two sizes: 3/4'' NPT female and 1'' NPT male. These sizes allow for installation in various plumbing systems. An extra converter adapter is provided for a 3/4'' NPT male connection. The end connection is a 1/4'' barb fitting, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of plumbing setups.
The reusable water filter uses a plastic filter element with either a 50 or 100 micron stainless steel filter mesh. This construction offers durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring a longer lifespan for the filter element. Choose the filter cartridges that best meet your needs.
Our spin-down filter is easily reusable and flushable. It includes a Siliphos ball to help soften water and prevent scale and corrosion. Simply rotate the scraping knob to remove particles trapped on the mesh, then turn the drain valve to flush out sediments. The filter should be replaced or flushed every several months based on use conditions.
The house water filter is designed to remove sediment, debris, and other particles from the water supply. It functions as a pre-filter, capturing larger particles before the water enters other filtration systems or appliances. This helps to improve overall water quality, prevent clogging, and extend the lifespan of downstream filtration equipment.
The sediment filter features a brass head and a plastic body. The brass head provides strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. The plastic body reduces weight and minimizes the risk of rust or corrosion from water exposure. The combination of these materials ensures a sturdy and reliable sediment filter for efficient filtration performance.
The water sediment filter can be used in both residential and commercial applications. It is commonly installed at the main water supply line or before specific appliances such as water heaters and washing machines. By removing sediment and particles, it helps to protect plumbing fixtures and prevent damage to appliances caused by clogs or debris.
