No installation is required, but you do need to situate the raw water tank on the base correctly by pressing the water tank until it firmly sits on the base without any gap. There is the sound of the pump running during the water filtration process (about 5 mins each time) as it needs to press the water into the RO system.

The Capacity is: Raw water tank: 1.2Gal/4.7L | Filtered water tank: 0.4Gal/1.5L. The Lifespan of the RO filter element is 12 months on average, varying according to different water conditions and consumption. To extend the filter lifespan, empty and refill the tank instead of adding water directly when changing the water. There is no need to worry about water leakage if the raw water tank is properly placed.

To correctly place the water tank, situate the raw water tank on the base properly and press the water tank until it sits on the base without any gap. Do not add hot water above 100°F or other strange fluids to the water tank to avoid damaging the raw tank and filter element.

Flushing the filtration system before the first use is necessary: 1) To ensure the system gets adequately flushed before use and the taste of water. 2) Please follow the manual/video to flush the system and empty the filtered water until the water in the raw water tank is filtered out 3-5 times.

If you see "E1" on the display while using the water filter, it's the 30-minute working time protection. Please unplug the water filter, wait for 5 mins, refill the water tank to the max level, plug in again, wait for flush, filter water process until water is ready, and press Start to try again.

If the "Change Water" sign keeps flashing, 1) Please lift the water tank to add water and then reinstall it instead of adding it directly to the tank. 2) Ensure the white float on the side of the raw water tank floats after adding water, and shake the water tank if the float does not rise.

The water tank needs to be exchanged when the raw water enters the cartridge through one side, and the remaining water after filtration is the undrinkable wastewater with high TDS that cannot pass the RO layer. When the water level is low, the machine prompts "Change Water," then you can exchange the tank.
